Burn The Rope Goes FREE For The First Time

Burn the Rope (iPhone) is a game where you have to... burn the rope. No, it's not related to a certain Flash game. But it is just as free today.

100 Rogues Goes FREE Today

Yeah, the developer may be a big fat whiny manchild who can't seem to avoid breaking his game with each update. But 100 Rogues (Universal iPhone/iPad) is still one of the best Rogue-likes on iOS.

Firemint Father's Day Sale: Really Really Real Racing

Not to be outdone by the major publishers, iOS wizards Firemint have put their Real Racing series of racing games on sale for the weekend. Here's what they've got to offer:

Real Racing 2 HD (iPad) has dropped in price for the first time, to $6.99. RR2 HD is notable for being one of the few games to currently support 1080p TV-out on the iPad 2!

Eurogamer: 9/10, AppSafari: 4.5/5, IGN: 9/10

Carnivores: Ice Age Goes FREE For The First Time

Carnivores: Ice Age (Universal iPhone/iPad) ain't your standard shooter. Instead of mowing down aliens or zombies, you're hunting big baddies from Earth's distant past in a manner similar to (but more fun than) those Cabela's hunting sim games your redneck uncle plays.

Jet Ball Goes FREE Today

Arkanoid-style brick-breakers are some of my favorite games to play on the go, and Jet Ball (iPhone) is the best one I've played on iOS. Seriously, I download and delete games on my iPod Touch like clockwork, and this one is one of the few that has a permanent place on its hard drive.

Babylonian Twins Premium for $0.99

The iPhone version of puzzle-platformer Babylonian Twins Premium (iPhone, iPad) seems to drop to $0.99 for one day every couple of weeks, but this time we can count the iPad version in on it too!

Namco Father's Day Sale: Not Quite A Six-Pac

Only two weeks writing this blog, and already we've had two sales from Namco. Thankfully this one's a little better than the first. As usual, more details and recommended games after the jump.

 Puzzle/RPG hybrid Puzzle Quest 2 (Universal iPhone/iPad) for $3.99:

SlideToPlay: 4/4IGN: 8/10No Dpad: "Buy"

EA Father's Day Sale: Manly Man Games For Men

Another month, another EA sale. This one seems to be one of the better ones, though, with tons of titles - many of them recently released - dropped to just $0.99. More details and recommended games after the jump.

Arcade-style basketball game NBA JAM by EA Sports (iPhoneiPad) for $0.99 and $4.99, respectively:

AppSpy: 5/5, TouchArcade: 4.5/5, GamePro: 4.5/5

Egg Vs. Chicken Goes FREE For The First Time

It really seems to me that the egg wouldn't stand a fighting chance, but whatever. Egg Vs. Chicken (iPhone) is free, it's developed by acclaimed Diner Dash creators PlayFirst, and it's cute as heck.
